Important information regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), applicable to all countries
When you’re travelling, the last thing you want to worry about is what your policy covers you for. We want to make it easy for you to manage your travel plans.
In light of the global impact of COVID-19 and the recent travel advisories issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) on 13 March 2020, Woolworths Insurance have taken the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the sale of travel insurance to new customers as of 16 March 2020.
For customers who already hold a travel insurance policy with us: there is no change and you can contact us to make a claim or amend your policy. Please be aware, our phone lines are exceptionally busy at the moment and we’re doing all we can to speak to our customers as quickly as we can.

Your travel provider may offer options to amend or cancel your travel arrangements due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We recommend that you immediately contact your travel provider regarding the best option for changing your trip. Remember to stay up to date for your areas of travel with Smartraveller.
