VetAssist is a new service for Woolworths Pet Insurance customers, to easily connect you to licensed Australian Vets at home or when you're on the move. Because we understand how stressful it can be when your pet is sick, we want to help take some of the guesswork out of caring for your pet.
Woolworths VetAssist is available 7 days a week between 6am-12am (AEST/AEDT) and connects you to licensed Australian Vets via video or chat online. You can get access to credible advice from a Vet at home, or even if you're away.
By connecting to a VetAssist Vet, you will be able to get advice on whether your pet requires emergency care, or if you can look after them in the comfort of their home. And it means you're not relying on searching for information online, from potentially inaccurate sources.

A VetAssist Vet will assess your pet via video or chat, and you'll be able to upload photos and videos via the chat function
After the consultation, you'll receive a transcript of your conversation or notes left by the Vet
The same Vet will then follow up via email in 24 hours to check-in on you and your pet
